Global Thinking in Action

With over 110,000 employees spanning 53 countries worldwide, the global AXA Group is a single company comprised of dedicated individuals from a myriad of backgrounds and cultures. Our workplace – and our marketplace – are dynamic and evolving.

At AXA Equitable, our employees are our greatest resource. Respecting the unique characteristics of each individual is a value we all share. And it is a competitive advantage that drives our success and produces results.

As an industry leader, AXA Equitable is committed to a workplace that is diverse, inclusive and merit-based. Characteristics that make people unique are valued as essential to our goals of growing the business, serving our clients and delivering long-term value to our shareholders. Leveraging our skill, talents and creativity – individually and collectively – is the cornerstone of our winning strategy.

Leading through Diversity: Our Core Initiatives

Diversity and Inclusion Education
We are committed to a robust and continuing Diversity and Inclusion Education Program that enhances awareness and brings the clarity of vision required for leading, managing and working in a dynamic and rapidly evolving multicultural environment. To this end, all senior leaders, officers, directors and managers attend inclusion seminars specifically designed for AXA Equitable.

Senior Management Accountability
Senior leaders of AXA Equitable are required to submit diversity plans for their core business areas and to create an environment where talented individuals from a variety of backgrounds are valued contributors. Diversity competency is a key measure of leadership success.

Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council
The Council supports and advises senior management in driving business excellence through diversity and inclusion. The Council is comprised of 12 individuals from a variety of business areas and locations, and meets regularly with Kip Condron, CEO, and members of the Executive Management Committee.

Talent Management
We embed diversity and inclusion in all of our talent management practices, including talent acquisition, performance management, career development, succession planning, our employee engagement survey, and workforce planning.

Supplier Diversity

AXA Equitable is committed to supporting women- and minority-owned businesses. We are a proud partner with the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the New York Region of Women President’s Educational Organization. The company also hosted a trade fair for the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council, a not-for-profit organization linking minority-owned suppliers with purchasers in both the public and private sectors.
