Stephanie Withers is the Chief Auditor of Equitable Holdings and a member of the company’s Management Committee. Ms. Withers leads Equitable Audit Services, providing insight on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes across the company. She reports to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and the CEO of Equitable Holdings.

Before joining Equitable Holdings, Ms. Withers was Chief Credit Review Officer at SunTrust Bank. During her 15-year tenure with SunTrust, she also helped engineer the transformation of the Internal Audit function into a high stature valued business partner, as well as established strong risk management functions within Finance and Corporate Treasury. Earlier in her career, Ms. Withers spent more than a decade at The Coca-Cola Company in a variety of leadership roles.

Ms. Withers received a master’s degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from Scripps College in Claremont, California.
